Journey to the west....of Queensland

Grey colour - Going to St.George from Brissy
Navy blue colour - Back to Brissy from St George

Yea…journey…trip…that’s what people desires most, especially those tired workers and students out there….Like me, yea, very tired after a tough and pressure exam. One day, one of my housemates, Pinto, came up with a good idea of going for a trip headed to the west side of Queensland. He suggested a place called St.George, which is a small town that is 510km away from Brissy (Brisbane). At 1st place, in my mind, wah, 510km..crazy! After he showed me the whole queensland map (map above is just a portion of the state), the place is like 3cm from Brissy …haha…what I can say is
àAust is really freaking huge!
His plan was: 1. Rent a car and go for 2 days 1 night

2. Travel to the destination while visit those tourist spots along the way

3. Able to stop whenever we want as it is more flexible if having own transport

Johan(Swedish) and I thought that it was a great plan actually since we can always get public transport easily if we want to go along the coastal areas…but its really hard to get to outback (local aussie refer to west side of Queensland) as its hard to catch a transport there. We tried to persuade our Korean housemate (Julian) to join us up coz its more fun if 4 of us enjoy together…but Julian insisted that he has no interest in going into west but BEACH…haha. So we have no choice and kept sticking to our own plan. After discussing the itinerary, we soon went back to our own rooms and rest earlier as we had to wake up early in the morning at 6am!! Once I have finished packing up my luggage, I quickly changed to pyjamas and had a sweet dream too.

Hmm…resting time is always that short, it was 6am in the morning! Arh…I forced myself to get up and had all “morning tidying sessions”! After a while, I rushed out to prepare my own breakky…soon Johan and Pinto walked out from their rooms and joined me up to have some food too. After that, we went to pick up our rental car which is about 20mins from house….!! Soon after finished with all the procedures, Pinto asked me to drive the rental car back to our house while he drove his own car back…..!! That was my 1st time driving in foreign country…hehe! Toyota Corrolla with 1.8CC…wow…powerful enough…vroonnngg! After putting all our luggages onto the rental car, Pinto became our main driver as he is very familiar with the road conditions here. Here we come….St. George!

Freedom....but yet :-( !!

Yoo all....finally i already finished my final exams, which means i have completed my 1st sem in UQ this year!!Although it was very tough but i'm delighted to make this happened! I will be looking forward to the future and keep things going on!

Why i feel sad? Hmm...the main problem is.....my laptop totally break-down, have to spend $500(RM1500) in total to get my laptop repaired. I haven't made up my mind to repair yet as i need to discuss with my parents about this!! Gosh....really sad...i don't want to spend parent's money for this but....laptop is very important for me as it plays almost 60% roles in my whole life!! Haha...what can i say about this...totally speechless!!

Since i'm having 2 months summer holidays before coming back, i need to look for jobs to cover my this 'superb expensive' living cost here....arhhh....will definitely try every jobs that offered to me!! The next thing to worry about is....need to look for a better house with lower room rental fees....luckily i got some friends who are also interested in moving out together, that makes me 50% less worry, i should say? hahaa....i'm just self-consulating.....

Like what my parents told me, "Just keep things looking forward, solve them one-by-one, that leads to a worthwhile experienced life & will grows you up!!" I totally agreed with them!! Hopefully everything will be fine.....Wish all my frens out there in M'sia, UK, US, SG, Aust, India.....all the best!!! Cheers...>!!!

Hmm...gotta put full effort in my exam.....no matter wht...."You need to sacrifice something in order to gain what you want, this is the principe of equilvalence". This is a precious phrase that i have learned in an anime called "FullMetal Alchemist"!! Haaa...yea, i think this is absolutely make sense as we need to work hard for the thing we aim for whether it is a short term or long term target......

I'm very glad that everyone is doing well there in M'sia, UK, Aust, US....! Ultimate Freedom??

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Yo....updating blog once a week...haaa...nothing much happened here, just doing assignments, lab reports, projects, attending lectures, study for exams, eat, sleep, sports(a little bit) !!! I think mostly all of you out there are having hard times as it is exam periods now....but some of my friends(MMU students) are in buoyant mode, relaxing for their holidays, hehe!! What is ultimate freedom? Err...according to my own knowledge, i think it is a situation with no worries, nothing much to figure about and total relaxing. That will happen soon after my finals exam which is still 35days remaining including today!! Arhh....

The pic i enclosed above was the buka puasa food selling by Malaysians near my house here in Brisb. As all of us know, they are having 1 months of ramadhan(fasting in certain period of time everyday). A 'big' packet of Kerabu rice + 2 curry puffs + 1 fried popiah = $4. It is not RM4 but $4....;-p Gosh...RM12 for this...expensive...but it reminded me of M'sia people's kindness & warmness and great varieties of food from different races (this is most important, haha) !! I will work hard till the end to achive my targets...this is a promise to myself....appreciated all the things i having now! Looking forward to meet all of you that are scattered around every parts of the world....Cheers....!!

Strong Comparison !!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comImage hosted by Photobucket.com

Its Sunday afternoon, juz had my lunch (baked mantou with fruit jam and kaya)! While having break, suddenly thought of updating my blog. The 1st pic is taken when i first arrived here in July, that time was winter and its quite cold. Whereas, the 2nd pic is taken last week and it is spring now which i always complain about the hot hot weather overhere...it somehow can increase up to 39 celsius degrees...gosh! Can't imagine when it is summer later...ooh nooo..!

According to my friends here, blossom of the flowers signifies that it is time to start our revision for our final exams...yeah...my exam will starts on 5th till 18th Nov...hmmm...gotta quickly start to study my heavy stacks of notes. I keep telling myself that time will past without our conscious and have a total yet temporary freedom after the exam. I will be staying here till next year....hmm.....have to train myself and try to learn some local cultures by getting some jobs during summer holidays here! All the best for those friends out there in other parts of Aust and M'sia....good luck in ur final exams as well....

Friday = Party Night?

Yooo....its really long long long time ago since my last post....have been struggling with my lab reports and assignments these few weeks...now finally got some free time to get myself a deep and relax breath(although next week will have to do 2 more lab reports and assignments)...sigh! Haha...

Its lucky enough that i had some extra nice dinner with 3 other malaysians here at JZ's house...really makes me think of having my hometown food! We bought the ingredients and cook together...it is fun yet satisfaction! My friend, Angeline, is a great chef here and even a house's cook in her family. She is the main cook for families' meals...cool...her mum only knows some western cuisine! Basically, she has to cook for her family everyday back in M'sia...haha...I will stand beside her, assisting and learning from her too. Of coz, i will also contribute some in our so called "Home Taste" dinner. JZ and Andrew will help us in washing the dishes. Thx to them! We will cook together for every Fri and Sat's dinner...yeahhh....

Just after our dinner, we spent some time, chatting together in my friend's room. At around 10pm, we decided to go back to our home respectively. When we walked out from JZ's house, we saw a guy lying beside the street! That's really freak us off...thought something happened. Suddenly, another Aussie approached me and asked me: "Hey mate, did you hit that guy?" I was like, wht the...me myself already so small size compare with them, how i able to hit him? Angeline and I quickly leave that area and rush towards her house. At that time, my body no longer being controlled by my mind, the only action was....RUN as soon as possible!! Eventually, they threw the rubbish bins beside the road...i'm still dun understand why they did so...One possible cause, they are Drunk....That's why, its almost a party night during every Friday nite, sometimes you will hear someone's screaming in the middle of the night...gosh!

Anyway, i just headed to my house after sending my friend back at her house safely. Don't really wnt to care so much about them....I must make good use of this weekend as my final exam is coming soon in November...I still got tonnes and tonnes of notes for revision! Arh..hehe...all the best for you guys out there...cheers, everyone!!

*P/s: I have enclosed my recent uploaded pics...take a look!

A fan of Korea....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Hehe....all Korean food...Maybe influenced by my Korean housemate.Lots of Korean handsome guy and pretty girl in my uni and the city, hehe. Actually i like to eat Korean food since my last visit to Korea last year...Their food contain spicy,salty,sweet...very unique taste yet good for health. I got them in China Town(Brisbane CBD)!! Upper Left is called Rice cake(Toupoukei), small brown casing is Korean Style Miso(DuanChang), centre red box(Korean Drama's red bean sup), Sea Weed(Upper Right) and 3 different types of Korean noodles....2 of us even bought a big packet of Kimchi and shared...nice..!

I even have a Korean name...is exactly convert from my chinese name - 허감상 ,pronunciation in English is "Hu Gam-Sang", funny huh? Thx to Julian, tried so hard to get my name translated into Korean words....hahaaa

Jing Zhong & I...Nice pic huh?

This Monday(26 Sept) was a special day for me coz finally i had a chance to go to a place called SunnyBank, which is 30mins from Brisbane CBD. 2 of my Malaysian friends brought me along, thx to them! Today was also my 1st day of the mid sem break,so i decided to get myself relaxed as 2 days before...P/S Am I too lazy? :p

That place is juz like an Asian town, bigger than the China Town in city. Lots of Taiwanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean...mostly Asians...We had our lunch in a Vietnamese Restaurant. The waiter should be a Vietnamese and he used PDA to jot down our order.....WHAT?PDA? Yea...its so high tech until even a small restaurant also using PDA in ordering food. Cool huh....No words can describe how delicious the food were...really nice! We managed to buy lots of chinese food like Wantan Mee, Spring rolls,Bah Kut Teh's ingredients and others. I somehow saw You Cha Kuai....haha! But i didn't buy as its too oily....

I told myself that i must come here next time when i have free time...hehe...till then...cya!

Saturday Relaxing & Drinking Session....- 24th Sept 2005

Image hosted by Photobucket.comImage hosted by Photobucket.comImage hosted by Photobucket.com

Yeah....its one of my favourite day, Saturday, in my opinion, people can use this day to get themselves relax for a while after a tiring week. Of course, not too relaxing become laziness. Just let ourselves have a deep breath. This is quite a happening day for me as Julian (Korean housemate) brought me to China Town & Brisbane CBD. We had our lunch there and get some food supplies. I will attach some photos taken in China Town and city later...just stay tune....!!

After finish buying food and had our 'window-shopping', we straight headed back to our house. When we get down from the bus stop nearby our house, we immediately rushed to our own rooms, and get ourselves changed to join the people playing soccer just infront of my house.

We finished our game at around 5.45pm, quickly take shower and changed into clean clothes. Around 6pm, Julian brought me together to his friend's house to have dinner and 'drinks'...hehe! As you can see at the 1st pic, all of them are international students....2 girls from Korea, the upper centre with blue shirt is my Korean housemate, lower centre is from Thailand and the other guy is from China. They are studying English language in UQ Language Centre. Me? I'm the one taking photo...haha! We had some Korean food and snacks like Tou-Poukei and Pruege(beef)....nice! Its drinking time,wahaha....i managed to get myself a Vodka Lime Cordial...yeah...! I found that a liquor called Kahlua...mixed with milk...Yes..milk, the taste is like a ice-coffee...really impressive. We spent our time chatting, playing some games and watching movie.

Today is like a total relaxing day for me. I really need a full-day off as having quite some busy weeks....but have to back on track to study and do my assignment by tmr although i am having a so called 'holiday break',haha....Okie...gotta stop here...cya guys...!

2nd Warmness Visit In Aust....

Image hosted by Photobucket.comImage hosted by Photobucket.com

Yea...Eddy visited to Brisbane and was on business trip like last time again. This time he will be in Brisbane for 5 days...He gave me a call once he reached Brisbane airport on Monday (19 Sept). Just after his work on Friday(23 Sept), he immediately came to my house, driving the same car(Toyota Avalon - powerful family car), rented from Avis by his company. As usual, we hugged each other when we met each other...what a warmth hugging...haha!

We simply chose a Japanese restaurant in Brisbane CBD(Central Business District) for our memorial dinner. This was my first ever Japanese food i had in Aussie...The restaurant is quite nice in decoration, the chefs have their own teppanyaki's showdesk to perform for the customers...! We have ordered Tori Katsu(Fried Crisp Chicken with bread crumps), Miso Spicy Chicken, Fried Tofu. The food was nice but we have spent $14(around RM42) for only 5 bowls of rice...gosh...haha...! Although Eddy paid the bill, but i still have to thank him very much. While having dinner, he told me his experiences that he had and learned here for almost 10 years! He clearly explained to me all I have to do being a student! Every single words are very precious and imperative for my future. Just after the dinner, i treated him back with Hot chocolate at The Coffee Club. I got myself a White Hot Chocolate...yeah!

Overall, I still very touched that he visited me twice in 2 months....and willing to spend his limited time with me...he is really care about me like his own brother, thanks mate. I will definitely visit you in Perth one day...hehe...till then, Cheers!

Wish them best of luck,mates..!

Those pics i attached above were taken in China Town in Brisbane City which is called Valley. My Korean housemate brought me there together! It can be accessible via 2 bus rides from my living area (St. Lucia).A few Asian food based chain markets that is called Yuen's Market is my regular place to get my stock in..hehe!!There got lots of Asian restaurants such as Chinese,Vietnam,Jap,Korean,Thai and Malay restaurants as well. The food is nice but yet very expensive...T_T! During Eddy(refer to earlier blog for more info)'s trip to Brisbane, we had both our lunch and dinner at one of the Chinese restaurant and Korean restaurant. Thanks again for his treat and visit to me! I really thank him from my bottom of my heart. The moon outthere is really round, tomorrow will be Mooncake Fest according to Chinese Calendar(八月十五中秋节)! I managed to see some mooncakes here but it cost about $30(RM90) per box which contains 4 mooncakes! Gosh..luckily i'm not a big fan of mooncakes as its too sweet for me.Thus, ended up without buying them...save money on other food, hehe!

My mum juz gave me a call this afternoon, saying that my cousin(Main "pighead") and other group of frens ald arrived at Wolverhampton safely. Good then. I told her that i'm boring overhere, then she said:"This is the life of being a student, must try ur best no matter wht in order to succeed. Australia style curry chicken?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Wah....red hot colour with kind of spicy look...is that curry chicken? hmm...i thought so before that...but this is not our version of M'sia curry chicken...It's one of the famous food in Korea, it is called "Tak Tori Tang". "Tak" means chicken whereas "Tang" means soup in Korean language. This is such a delicious food that i haven't tried before...when you drink the soup...you will taste a rich and thick soya flavoured soup, followed up with spicy taste then, somore its perfect if you serve this dish with hot bowl of rice and have this kinda food during winter time,it's like having food in heaven..Thx to my housemate, Julian who is the main contributor of this dish...I just have to spend $2(RM6) for this such wonderful dish...worth...!

Hope i can learn some other countries' good food here, currently, all my housemates are from different countries with different culture and background. Those include M'sia(me), Korea(Julian), Indo'sia(Pinto - Supra owner..hehe), Eva(East Timur...island near Indo'sia), Fiona(Scottland) and Emma(Sweden - research in Pharmacy studies..cool). Yeah...my house is like an united nations! Hehe....

A Good Friend of Mine.....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Yo...It's been 1 week since i posted my last blog...I have been so busy nowadays as a lot of things to catch up and to get used to it...Somehow, i managed to get myself some entertainment to cope up with the stress that keep pushing me everyday...haha! Playing soccer, hang out with friends, have meals in friend's house, dining together with my housemates and shopping for FOOD, these are all my so called "entertainment" haha....What to do, must spend some times on other things besides studying,if not, i will become paranoid...hehe! I knew that the air condition in Malaysia, especially KL areas is very terrible and reached danger level too...hope all of you are fine and "genki (energetic)" at all time...take care, mates...! Drink more water!!!

The picture that i attached here is just a picture of a section in an Australian newspaper! Not very special though but what I'm trying to focus in is the reporter's name above, Petrina Berry...can you guys see that? Petrina, this remind me of one of my good friends who is now in Penang, Malaysia. I knew her 2 years ago when i was taking my HSC(Pre-U) course in IICP, right, pet? This name is very unique and rare in M'sia, that's make her become a special person to me as well! I used to call her as 'Pet' coz it sounds like very close to me and i'm comfortable of calling her with this name....hehehe, hope you dun mind that. It's been a month since our last meet before i come over to Aust...and 1 week since our last chat in phone too...haha! She will be going to UK to persuit her studies soon...Hope all the best for you and must keep contact at all time ya....!

At last, just a simple phrase that means everything, "I miss you, pet"! I also miss my family, food and all my fellow 'gang' of friends that we used to hang out together...Yeahhh!! I can't wait to come back and visit all of you....including my favourite food...I'm Coming!

Special Guest of mine....!!!

Yoo.... this is my 3rd week here in Brisbane,Australia. Thx to leng sis and chang bro to drop by, leaving some comments here! Hope that there will be more of you giving me some ideas or messages!

2nd August :-

It's quite a normal day with lectures. My class already ended at 1pm due to no practical class. Except for Thursday, i will have my classes till 4pm everyday...gosh...! I got to know that my eldest bro's best friend, Eddy came to Brisbane from Perth for business trip yesterday. He called up me and we supposed to meet up on Monday, but due to some circumstances, we postponed it to tonite. Once i left the classroom, i grabbed my backpack, headed to the nearest convenient shop to get some groceries...hehe! Food, here i come! Just after half an hour, i reached at home and get some toasts & biscuits as my lunch...hmm!

At around 5pm, Eddy called me up saying that he confirmed that we could meet up at 8pm later tonite! He told me that every time when he reaches a new place, he will get the map and follow the direction to get to a destination. He said that there is no problem of finding my house location. All he needs is a car with adequate petrol and map! Haha...make sense anyway! Finally, he reached my place at around 8.10pm! When we meet each other, we immediately have a big "warm & welcome" hug! It's already 3 weeks that i didn't have this kind of "Home Sweet Home" feeling! It's really quite a long time since our last meet in Penang, Malaysia last X’mas. I quickly invited him to come in and have a look at my house. At the same time, I introduced all my housemates to him!! After a while, we began our journey to search for our dinner! We decided to have our dinner at China Town in Brisbane! We randomly picked up a restaurant and went into it without any hesitation as both of us were so hungry! We ordered 3 dishes and ‘kao tim’ them in 1 hour tome…hehe! He told me about his experiences in Australia since he already been here for 8 years…WOW! I really learned a lot from him. Just after finish our dinner, I directed him to my uni campus and ‘ronda-ronda’! About 15 minutes later, it was already 11.15pm! He dropped me at my house and went back straight to his hotel as he needs to work on the following day! Before leaving, we again, hugged and thanks to each other on the time spending together…Although is short, but I already very appreciated it!

5th Aug:-

My class started at 9am but i already woke up at 6.45am! It's still that cold...i'm feeling dizzy and sleepy still as i got back home at 1am, went to Gold Coast with friends yesterday...hehe! Bought a Hard Rock Cafe @Surfers Paradise Cap...It's been 10 years ago since my last visit there! Everything in my memory has changed...It's so nice there....but that's only my one day trip...very tiring and lack of time!

I promised to myself that i must not miss any classes although not enough of sleep...so i decided to wake up once i heard my alarm clock!! Eddy is going back to Perth today. He gave me a call yesterday night, asking me out before going back! Once finish my class at 1pm, i quickly gave him a call and he reached my house within 15 minutes...cool! We again, went to China Town and chose a Korean Restaurant for our lunch! He treated me both dinner and lunch coz he said he already working whereas i'm still new here, haha. I feel so paiseh(embarrased) bout this, but i really appreciated! He told me lots of experiences he had when he was a student few yrs ago, saying that I have to put more effort in adapting to both language(speaking accent) and the courses here! I remembered every single points he stated and keep them in mind as a guideline for a student like me! I have no regret at all, meeting up with him...although short time but really worthful...! I'm sure we will have chance to meet up again in the future! Cheers, mate!

Hmm...life in brisbane!!

Hi all of you,

It's my second Saturday in Aust, not to say i'm having homesick but i miss all my family, friends, food and tv programmes, haha! Today, i'm boring here as my housemates already went out to find their friends or get some stuffs. Actually, today is a good day for me to study but.....due to laziness, i chose to bring my pc over to campus to online, :-p! Bad? Yea, i admit it....

After 1 week of oversea lectures, it's quite hard for me to adapt it as sudden change of education system. I'm not those genius like my leng sis, good friends, that's why i have to work hard to keep up their learning progress! Jess told me that using mind maps will assist in studies, i think it's the time for me to change my learning attitude and way of studying! The uni's sign board also stating "Inspired Thinking" which mentioning the uni's main aim is to inspiring, guiding students to think and figure much on your own to make urself a good promised for your future! Hmmm.. i will try my best here and hope that will be the same to all of you...Cheers, buddy..!

**Due to request by leng sis, did you guys notice any pics of my housemate and i? One of my housemates is a Korean, his name is Julian. He will only stays here for 6 months coz the course he is taking which is English language, will ends in next January. He cooked lots of Korean dishes and taught me some Korean language as well..hehe! Just let me know if you guys still want any info!!**

There are some pictures updated in my photoalbum. Please have a look if free then...thx!! :)

My 1st journal in Aust...! Hehe...

17/7/05

Today is a normal Sunday for everyone but sure it is a special one for me, because I’m going to Brisbane, Australia tonight! But, I’m still scratching my head from the moment I woke up, all because I haven’t get my luggage prepared! Normal luggage weight limit (luggage checking-in) for a traveler to Australia is 20kg. Students that going to study abroad in Australia will be granting additional weight of 10kg (30kg all together). My dad was helping me all the time to make sure that the luggage is within 30kg or 33kg. Hmm….Keep trying on moving things out and in again, but the weight is still 38kg. My dad reminded me to get the list checked again so that any unnecessary things have to be taken out from the luggage to lose the weight and save some spaces as well. In the end, we successfully to get 34kg left and it was around 5pm. If it is overweight, you have to pay for the luggage overweight fees and its around RM100+? It’s totally not worth at all.

Gosh, my flight is at 9pm and I have to check in 2 hours earlier as this is compulsory for all the students. Without hesitation, I rushed to take my bath and get my prepared clothes on. Within 10 minutes, all the family members were ready and waiting for me. Before leaving the house, I prayed to the god and my ancestors for blessing my new life in Australia and take good care of my family as well when I’m not with them. I also asked forgiveness for those troubles and mistakes that I have been made all the time. I was the last one who left the house, at the same time, I still managed to tell the house that I’ll be back one day…..although there is nobody there, funny huh? Haha!! This is the my own way of saying good bye to my lovely home! "Home Sweet Home"!!

After half an hour, we soon arrived at the Penang airport. My itinerary is Penang -> Singapore -> Brisbane by Singapore Airline as I need to reach there in the morning! After getting my luggage checked-in, the weight indicator was 35kg (Oh my god, it exceeds the limit, how arh?) It appeared in my mind for 2 minutes, I was praying so that my luggage can be through with no extra charges. Thanks god, the person in-charged didn’t say anything and got those luggage stickers stickled on them! Phew…..! Just a little while, my friend Paul & Stella called me and telling me that they have arrived. I met them once I hang up the phone. Then, Momo and Ah Pin called me up to apologized of not able to send me off as some reasons on it. Actually, a call or a message is more than enough even though you can’t make it. Most of my KL friends are now studying, that’s why they can't make themselves to be there at that time! I understand those, pals…really thank you all of you that wished me luck. I hope same things will go on all of you….!! After that, Bacon turned up and wished me all the best. That’s all, 3 of them came and sent me off…ooh man…it’s like….so silent but my heart was so warm, contributed by those wishes from messages and calls!

It’s so soon, the time was 8.45pm and I need to begin my step towards a whole new life. My dad just hugged me at once and told me to study at my most effort, take care myself as well. My mum also hugged me, told me to look after of myself there. But I think it should be alright for me because I studied in KL before and that’s out of my hometown. My eldest bro just shaked my hand and told me to keep this in mind, “Study hard, Play hard & Be careful”. Short phrases but meaningful. My second elder brother also shaked my hand, asking me to appreciate this chance of lifetime. This is a whole new path for me and it could be a major experience to shape a better man in the future with better behavior, well-trained, responsibility and full of wisdom. I will never forget what all of you had told me and definitely try everything to achieve them. After all these, I carried a backpack and a cabin-size luggage, walked alone towards the custom security checking. Once I have done all these, I looked backwards and waved my hand to my family and friends. When I got my head turned back, I can’t really believe that I finally make this happened. I already planned this 2 years ago just after my pre-u studies (HSC) in IICP. Everything is seriously all on my own, no more spoon-feeding from parents, friends around. I’m all alone but not in heart…I still feel the warmth from all of you! Thanks again. When I get into the plane, I showed my seats number to the air-stewardess and she showed me the way politely and accurately. After putting those luggage properly, I just think back all the things have been happened in these recent days, I have done lots of things, met lots of people. So, the journey begins……..!

These are the pictures taken during the departure day and some recent pictures...!!
Enjoy !!

A Meaningful Trip To KL !!! Nice~~

Yo pal....Here i come again. It's really a long long time ago since i posted my last bloggie. I always surf Jessie's blog(My Leng sis) only but I was so lazy to write something on it for myself as I was really living in hell for these few weeks. All about my Visa's things...now finally can be left aside.

Actually this trip was planned by me and LCS...but ends up by planning nothing. Few days b4 the trip, we just got to know the place we goin to stay ----> Berjaya TimeSquare Hotel. Yeah...~~Nice... 7 of us goin with only RM40 per nite for 3 days 2 nitez....Hehehe...secret secret...!!

It was so soon and the day has come, Friday (24/6) which is a day after my bday. 4 of us includes Ah Pin, Momo, SH and I taking the express bus to KL at 9.00 in the morning. My dad already woke up and sat in the living room to read newspapers. Before leaving the house, I greeted to my dad and told him that i will be on vacation, will be coming back on the next Monday. He suddenly told me that don't always go out of the house as sometimes it is not necessary to use up ur precious time and money. He gave lots of speeches and pieces of advice. Hey dad, I understand what you have told me and I will always remember them in my heart. Once getting on the bus, I was so sleepy as yesterday my frenz celebrated my bday for me. Thx to you,sis...!!

Gooong....the bus engine's noice was so irritating but I still continue with my sweet sweet dreams....We arrived at KL for just 3 and half an hour. Cheers, cool bus driver. Without hesitating, we grabbed our luggages and asked the driver to drop us down and walked directly to TimeSquare to avoid the "frustrating" traffic jam in the town...hehe...! *P/S srry for KL ppl...! Once we checked into the hotel, we immediately rush to our room. When we opened the door, it was like another piece of heaven land just right in front of our eyes…Yeah… I will attach some pics of the room…Enjoy. At around 5pm, LCS from Inti Nilai, Ah Wei from MMU Malacca and Ah Goo from MMU Cyber came to meet up with us at the hotel. Finally, the "Seven Dwarfs" have rejoined. Hehe...

We went to Sungai Wang, TimeSquare, KLCC and Low Yat Plaza. Hehehe...Low Yat Plaza is really a wonderful land for guys...wahahaha...but it will turn out to be a hell if lack of $$$....hahahaa....do u guys agree? We can get some cheap stuffs at Sg. Wang as well as spotting leng gals and chai...wahahaha...! On Friday night, I left my gang to join my previous UCSI frens to celebrate both Fan Bro's and my birthday...I will include those links at the bottom of this bloggie...I have bought a T-shirt, a beanie(Snowcap) and some computers accessories...Broke d...Gosh....

Soon, Sunday has come, it signaled the end of this trip, each of us were on their way back to the place where they came from, while i decided to stay overnight in Cheras at Kit's place...Hehe...Early next morning, with the aid of David, I managed to get on the bus, back to Penang....Thx ya...! This is really a good trip especially went with all these primary schoolmates, really lied deep in my heart and i will always waiting for the next time to come....!! Yeahhh....

A Walk To Remember....

Yo...It's been a long time since I posted my last bloggie...Here I come again...As usual for every Sunday, i have been awaken up by mum at 6.15am to jog with my dad.My mind was still in my wonderful dreams(but dun remember wht was it) and feel like wanted to continue with my sweet sleep. After wondering for around 2 minutes, i decided to wake up and walked into the washroom to get my teeth brushed and face washed. After putting up my clothes, i quickly rushed down and get my water bottle & music player. Exactly at 6.30am, my dad's fren - Uncle Teh arrived at my house. Haha..When everything is ok, we headed to our destination - Mengkuang Dam in Bukit Mertajam.

About 20 minutes, a big and wide field was juz right in front of my eyes...As we got down from the car, the sky is still dark but the air is absolutely fresh and cold. It's a good place to relax our mind especially for those workers that have to work from Mon till Sat...I met some of my highschool's friends during the jog. Hehe...when you run with ur musics on, you can hardly feel tiring as the rythm of the musics make your body continue to move and sometimes will get even "High" i should say? ":-| Hmm...around 9.30am...we got back on our car and go for my favourite activity - EAT for our breakfast. We had some roasted breads and Kopi O' ....

Before going back to our house, my dad and uncle Teh spotted a road sign pointing the way to Junjung...haha...This is a well-known place for all the local durian lovers. Of course, 3 of us are also durian lovers. Without any hesitation, we straight headed to that old town of Junjung. When we arrived at the market, lots and lots of durian stalls are set up by the local durian vendors by the roadside. We approached the chinese stalls for the durians. Uncle Teh and my dad quickly asked the vendor opened some durians for us to try out. Haha...here's the ultimate 'user review' from durian journalists(hahaha)....The meats contain high concentration of the sweetness with some alcoholic smell...this is the speciality of those hill durians (hutan durian). It somehow can compete with those branded durians like Red Prawn(in cantonese called Hong Har), D24, D2 and some others. Another advantage of buying this kinds of durians is they are so...CHEAP! We bought around 30 quantities of it and juz costed us for RM40...Wahaha...Although 1 durian only contains not more than 4 of them...aahhaa...but is absolutely fantastic...!!

After arriving at home, straight went to take a comfortable shower and took a lil nap...hehe...Nice morning walk with extraordinary durians...wahaha!!

What a bad yet happy party Nitezzz !! Let's get it started...

Yooo....i juz woke up today and i wont be so late usually...of coz there was something biggg happened yesterday nite! My best fren that i know since in primary school, ah pin came back from US yesterday morning. All of us decided to celebrate his home coming back in disco pub...hehe...That's the famous "Chill Out" in Gurney, Penang.

I was late to go there as i had a family dinner until 9.45pm. I drove my favou car, fetching 2 of my friends(ah goo and ah loong) and rushed to the destination. When we arrived,it was already 11.15pm and lots of ppl gathered infront of the entrance. My fren quickly headed to the counter and paid for 3 of us...I got 2 bottle of Carls' for RM35 (cover charge)....hehehe....It was very crowded in there and we managed to find our gang...A lots of fren that unexpected and havent met for a long time were all in there...So happy and greeted each other...With the music on...my body started to move automatically and i drank the 1st half bottle of beer in one shot...hehe!!!

My frens opened several bottles of Chivas..(shuuu...that hardcore liquor...advisable not to take too much) and of coz...it costs them more than RM700...Oh my god. I danced with my frens together with liquor on my hand...haha..kinda nice but...not a good thing to practice too often i should say!!! Around 1.00am, i got a fren...really get drunk and cant even stand straight, easily to fall asleep. 2 of my frens which were ah loong and ah shin...together took him out of the place and let him get some rest!! But....ah loong found that his precious Swatch watch was missing on the way out from the pub...it costs him RM500...ohhh man... ;-( He was so carelessly, without any awareness...Pity for him, my fren! Then...its the main character's problem...its ah pin's turn to get drunk...His gf quickly get him out of the pub to get some fresh air n rest as well...with the aid of 2 of my frens...(ah chuan and ah goo)!! 2 of them lied on the floor together and vomitted...

I was there, together with my frens to accompany these 2 "drunken masters" haha...but i also felt uncomfortable and vomitted near the plants...Pity the plants and srry for them..mayb becoz of drinking too much of pure shots of chivas with ais...haha. I felt better after that and gained back my conscious...Its around 2.00am, all my frens were ready to go back and of coz...let the 2 "drunken master" to rest earlier...It was bad when i heard that Penang Bridge was having a road block...and i drank quite lots...so i was told to stay for a while! Mayb God blessed me for this time, it rained quite heavily and got a call from frens saying that Penang Bridge was clear. So i quickly asked my frens and we were on the way back home....

After dropping down 2 of my frens safely at their home, i kept telling myself...bear for a while and drive slowly and carefully! After parking my car, i straight headed to toilet as i felt uncomfortable again....Guess wht...I vomitted for second time! Hahaa...after cleaning everything...then i jumped onto my bed and had a sweeetttt dreams....until this morning 9.00am!!! Woohooo....wht a terrible yet quite enjoying nite...That's my another 'GOOD' memory for me..Haha....
